A request is not an automatic booking

Submitting the form asks us to review your dates, your dog’s needs and compatibility with any other guest. A stay is confirmed only after Dogs with Gerda personally agrees the dates, care arrangements and final price with you.

Availability shown online and calculator totals are estimates until confirmed personally. There is no obligation to book simply because you submitted a request.

Pricing and payment

The standard home-boarding rate is 600 Kč per night. The calculator shows any selected optional services, applicable public-holiday surcharges and estimated transport or bathing charges.

Payment is arranged only after the stay and final price have been personally confirmed. A payment QR code or other agreed payment instructions are sent separately. No online deposit is collected through this website.

Changes and cancellations

If your dates or plans change, please contact us as soon as possible at dogswithgerda@gmail.com. Any payment, cancellation, refund or rescheduling arrangements are discussed and agreed before you commit to the stay.

We do not publish a universal cancellation fee because arrangements may depend on the confirmed dates, notice given and the individual booking agreement.

Your dog’s information and safety

Please give accurate information about your dog’s vaccination status, medication, health, mobility, behaviour around dogs and people, bite history, separation distress, resource guarding and escape risk when relevant.

We may recommend an introductory meeting, a trial stay, separate spaces or another care arrangement. Dogs with Gerda may decline or adapt a request if a safe and suitable setup cannot be confirmed.

What is already included

A standard stay includes a safe home environment, walks adapted to the individual dog, feeding with the owner’s supplied food, managed introductions, rest, appropriate separation and regular updates. Optional extras are never required to receive attentive basic care.

Arrivals, belongings and veterinary care

Arrival and collection times, feeding instructions, your dog’s food, medication, veterinary contact and an emergency contact are agreed before the stay begins. Please provide any equipment or supplies your dog needs.

If an urgent welfare or veterinary issue arises, we will make reasonable efforts to contact you or your emergency contact and act in your dog’s best interests according to the information and permissions agreed before arrival.

Photos, updates and newsletters

Public sharing of your dog’s photographs or videos and email newsletters each require separate optional permission. Declining either does not affect your booking or the personal updates included in the stay.
